Brian Steckler
Keeping the sawdust flying!

Brian Steckler, originally from Seattle, has been living in Carmel CA since 1992.  Brian retired after 20 years in the US Navy back in 1995 and has been working in the network communications business ever since. 

 

His passion for woodworking began in high school woodshop and has grown in importance and focus over the past 45 years. Brian now has a nicely appointed, roomy and comfortable woodshop in Carmel Valley. 

 

Using locally harvested sustainable hardwood, Brian makes a wide variety of live edge furniture, nick-nacks, cutting and charcuterie boards, and has mastered the mixed medium of epoxy resin and live edge hardwood.  Brian and his wife Vicki enjoy the company of their children and grandchildren -- all living in California.
